All work is marked in accordance with the L.G.S. Science Department Marking Policy.

In general, at the end of each topic a Topic Test will be set.

Investigative skills will be assessed in accord with the Sc1 criteria.

At the end of the academic year all pupils will sit an internal examination covering the topics studied in the Programme of Study.

Examination classes will sit an internal trial exam in the January preceding the public examination.
